My name is Olly and I’ll be your English language assistant for this academic year. I look forward to meeting you all and exploring around North Rhine-Westphalia.

Here’s a few facts about me:

• I am from London and have lived there for the majority of my life. More specifically I am from Archway, which is near Camden.
• I went to the University of Dundee in Scotland and completed a Masters in Geography and Psychology, so I might be in some of your geography lessons.
• I’m half French, so speak both English and French, feel free to talk to me in either language.

I look forward to working with you all. Hopefully we will be able to speak a lot of English together and I can help you practice and improve, although from what I’ve heard you all speak English very well already.

My hobbies include travelling, cooking and sports, so feel free to talk to me about any of these subjects if you see me in the corridor.

I also hope to improve my German speaking skills while I am here. Furthermore, I need some advice about what I should do in the local area while I am here, so please provide me with any ideas if you have some.
